Scientists say that the earth is about 4.5 billion years old and the Bible says it is a little over 6 thousand years old. What do you think? I for one when I see Jesus have a lot of questions to ask him. But I know that when we see Him that there would be no need to ask him anything. Because according to scriptures all things will be made known to us. One question I would like to ask, knowing that He is eternal. What was He doing all that time before Genesis (He is Alpha and Omega). How many times have we screwed it up? Being merciful He keep giving us a chance to get it right. Let me add that I don’t believe in reincarnation. But I do believe that this is the last chance that we have to get it right.

Ah…..that is a good question. Yes indeed. I need to ask God a lot of things. Especially being that I have a science background. And for the record “NO”, I don’t believe man evolved from a monkey. If we track genealogy back to Adam that gives us roughly 6000 yrs. But how long from the 1st day of creation until the 6th day (Adam’s creation)?
The bible doesn’t specify the length of the day or that the days were consecutive. Each day of creation could have had millions of years in between them. After all we’re talking about an infinite God.
